Terms

Terms of use

Binders is free software for macOS, published by Helder Feixas. By downloading or using it you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose. Last updated 20 September 2026.

Free, and provided as is

Binders costs nothing and comes with no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Transcripts, notes, answers and to-dos are produced by machine-learning models and can be wrong or incomplete. Check anything that matters before you rely on it.

Your data is yours, and only yours

Everything Binders keeps is stored on your Mac. We hold no copy of it and cannot recover it for you. Keep your own backups.

Your responsibilities

Other people’s software and models

Binders is built with the open-source software and models on the Licences page, and works with a language model you install yourself. Those come under their own licences and terms.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the publisher is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Binders. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be waived.
